Nana’s Opens Its First Store in Cuddalore

-KH News Desk (editorial1@imaws.org)

Nana’s, the latest venture by Ramkee Narayanan, marks a bold evolution in the traditional sweets and bakery space. Built on the 44-year legacy of Hotel Anandha Bhavan, founded by his father Mr. Narayanan, Nana’s is designed as a complete one-stop food destination. The 1,500 sq ft outlet at 87, Lawrence Road brings together multiple experiences under one roof — including traditional sweet and savoury counters, a chaat section, snack displays, extensive impulse counters, and dedicated sampling stations that invite customers to explore and taste.

What sets Nana’s apart is its experiential approach. Customers can witness live cake-making counters, adding transparency and excitement to celebrations. The store also houses a premium café offering a wide global menu — from pasta, burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, and momos to unique signature creations such as Korean cheese buns, Japanese jelly coffee, Kunafa Lotus Biscoff milkshakes, and indulgent cheesecakes. This thoughtful combination of traditional favourites and contemporary café offerings makes Nana’s a destination designed for all generations, all occasions, and every kind of craving.

Looking ahead, Nana’s aims to expand this format into multiple locations, creating a scalable and recognizable brand across cities. The vision is to redefine the conventional sweet shop into a modern, experience-led retail space, where tradition meets innovation seamlessly. With a strong operational foundation and customer-first design, Nana’s is positioned to become a go-to destination for sweets, snacks, and café indulgence — all under one roof.

“Nana’s is not just a sweet shop — it’s a complete food experience,” said Ramkee Narayanan. “My vision is to present traditional flavours with a modern touch and create a space where everything comes together — from sweets and savouries to global café offerings. We’ve designed Nana’s to be a one-stop destination where customers can explore, experience, and enjoy. At the heart of it all, our goal is simple — to deliver happiness in every bite, every visit.”
