With the latest development Swiggy Ltd is now scaling up their 10-minute food delivery offering, Bolt to 400+ cities and towns across the nation. Bolt is reshaping the quick service business in the country by delivering fresh and hot food that requires zero preparation time from famous restaurants and QSRs in just 10 minutes. As the name suggests, it is designed for high speed and focuses on food cuisines that can delivered to customers without making any compromise in terms of taste and freshness. Food is delivered from around 40,000 restaurants with a range of over 10 lakh items to choose from.
Initially, it was launched in Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune and Hyderabad but now it is active in other emerging cities like Lucknow, Jaipur, Indore, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Indore as well as.
Tier 2 and 3 cities such as Guntur, Roorkee, Jagtial, Patna, Warangal, Shillong, Solan etc. Swiggy wants to make sure that Bolt can cater to the growing demand for reliable and quick food delivery businesses in smaller and metropolitan cities. Till now cities like Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have seen the highest adoption of Bolt followed by Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
Swiggy is also partnering with hotels and cafes to enhance the order prioritization for Bolt orders that require no preparation time. Talking about the delivery radius it is limited to 2 km as of now which will gradually increase and will enable faster delivery. Additionally, the speed of delivery will be enhanced by making delivery executives closest to the Bolt outlets as priority.

Bolt – Food in 10 Minutes offers a varied range of highly popular cuisines from burgers, bakery, and sweets to breakfast items and biryani that require zero preparation or say ready to pack. Consumers can select from national brands like KFC, Burger Kings, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Baskin Robbins, EatFit, Chaayos and local delicacies Shiraz and Kookie Jar in Kolkata, Gwalia Sweets in Ahmedabad, Irani Cafe in Pune, Sethi Ice-cream in Delhi, Anand Sweets in Bangalore, MM Mithaiwala in Mumbai and G Pulla Reddy Sweets in Hyderabad.
