Out of the Box (OTB), Khan Market, has made its highly anticipated return in a “bolder avatar.” This relaunch marks the iconic brand’s fifth transformation in its history, introducing a sophisticated new brand identity, luxurious interiors, and an elevated global menu crafted to marry modern creativity with familiar warmth.

Relaunch Concept and Design Transformation

The renovation focuses on creating a premium, sophisticated atmosphere while retaining the approachable vibe that has defined OTB for over a decade in the New Delhi market.

  • Restaurant: Out of the Box (OTB)

  • Location: Khan Market, New Delhi

  • Nature of Return: Fifth brand makeover/relaunch with a refreshed identity and elevated concept.

  • New Design Language: The iconic familiar yellow and red palette has been replaced by a premium brown and gold aesthetic, exuding sophistication.

  • Layout: The space spans multiple floors, designed to suit diverse needs, offering various zones for quiet conversations, intimate indoor corners, vibrant social gatherings, and al fresco seating surrounded by greenery.

  • Overarching Mission: To create spaces where every guest feels at home, suitable for casual lunches, lively evenings, or milestone celebrations.

Elevated Culinary Direction

Leading the culinary transformation is Chef Akshay Malhotra, whose expertise brings a sophisticated touch to approachable global cuisine.

  • Leading Chef: Chef Akshay Malhotra (previously honed expertise at ITC).

  • New Menu Focus: A refined global menu emphasizing a balance of flavour, creativity, and comfort.

  • Signature Dishes Highlighted: OTB Malai Broccoli, Nested Lotus Kabab, Hang Curd Filo Pastry, Ghee Roast Chicken, Shikampuri Kabab, Zaatar Chicken, Chicken ‘n’ Pepper Skewer, Truffled Edamame Crystal, and Burnt Cheesecake.

Udit Bagga, Co-founder, shared his perspective on the brand’s evolution: “OTB has always been about bringing people together over great food and memorable experiences. This relaunch is our way of elevating that connection while staying true to the spirit that made OTB a part of Delhi’s cultural fabric.”
