Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd. (ROHL) has proudly launched Regenta Place Ahmedabad, marking its 16th property in Gujarat and reinforcing its growing influence in India’s western hospitality sector.
Situated conveniently near the SG Highway and Sindhu Bhavan Road, the new 48-key hotel is designed to serve both business and leisure (“bleisure”) travellers. It blends contemporary style and functionality with smart workspaces, high-speed connectivity, and versatile meeting facilities. This strategic expansion underscores ROHL’s commitment to delivering personalized hospitality while capitalizing on Ahmedabad’s heritage-rich and commercial vibrancy.
A standout feature of Regenta Place Ahmedabad is Neighbourhood, an all-day vegetarian dining outlet that embraces local flavors and culinary innovation. For guests seeking refreshments, the exclusive Permit Room offers alcoholic beverages—subject to a valid permit. The property also includes a modern fitness center and approximately 6,000 square feet of elegant meeting and banquet space.
Commenting on the opening, Arjun Baljee, President of Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd., said the hotel “blends work and leisure” and embodies the company’s “commitment to personalized hospitality in key markets.” He emphasized that Ahmedabad—one of India’s fastest-growing metros—offers an ideal backdrop for such expansion.
Contextual Background on ROHL’s Gujarat Expansion
This latest opening comes after a rapid rollout of properties in Gujarat over recent years:
In February 2025, ROHL launched Regenta Resort near the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, its 15th hotel in the state. This luxury, five-star retreat offers 49 rooms, including suites and pool villas, lush amenities, wellness facilities, and vast event spaces—positioning itself as a new tourism landmark.
Earlier, in January 2025, the opening of Regenta Dwarka brought the tally to 13. Located minutes away from the famed Dwarkadhish Temple, it features 52 rooms, a day-long restaurant with a unique Flambé Trolley for live dosa preparation, and scenic views over temple and shorelines.
Before that, “The World”, promoted as Gujarat’s largest all-suite five-star hotel, debuted in Surat in 2024 with 288 suites, luxury facilities including spa, co-working space, gaming zone, and grand banquet halls—making a bold statement in Gujarat’s luxury segment.
These openings illustrate the brand’s strategy of targeting key cultural, pilgrimage, and commercial hubs across Gujarat.
