The St. Regis Goa Resort, the luxury benchmark on the South Goa coast, has announced the appointment of Maestro Roberto Zizi as the new Italian Chef de Cuisine at its signature Italian restaurant, Oliveto. A native of Sardinia, Italy, Chef Zizi brings a wealth of international experience and a deep-rooted passion for authentic Mediterranean flavors to one of Goa’s most refined dining destinations.

Culinary Vision & Background

Chef Zizi is set to elevate Oliveto’s gastronomic narrative by blending centuries-old Italian traditions with contemporary innovation.

  • Specialization: Authentic Italian cuisine with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and traditional Sardinian influences.

  • Global Expertise: His career spans leadership roles across prestigious international hotel brands, where he has been instrumental in refining premium culinary standards.
