International Japanese bakery chain Beard Papa’s will open a second Austin location in 2024. It is located in the H Mart in Lakeline at 11301 Lakeline Boulevard. The bakery will open on Saturday, March 30.
Jonas Liao, owner of Beard Papa’s Austin H Mart reported that “We are very excited to bring Beard Papa’s to H Mart customers here in North Austin. It’s a great opportunity to be part of the H Mart family and the community at large. We know that H Mart customers will appreciate and enjoy our cream puffs.”
Cream puff is the main course at Bread papa’s which is choux pastry sheet filled with cream and cream. Shell flavors include chocolate eclair, vanilla, s’mores and churro. Then there are toppings like vanilla bean, chocolate and green tea.Additionally, non-blowing items like Japanese puddings, creme filling and chocolate or bean fondant are available. Moreover, there are milk teas like taro, matcha, and brown sugar.
Mark Nathan, marketing director for the franchis shares that, “Beard Papa’s crafts natural, freshly baked cream puffs on-site daily. The irresistible recipe keeps customers coming back for more. Once you’ve tasted Beard Papa’s, you know what a cream puff should be. It’s a unique delight — real vanilla bean, luscious custard filling, and premium ingredients create an unforgettable experience!”
A grand opening event for the first 100 people at the H Mart Austin location, where gifts will be given, is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. on Saturday along with other special offers. Its general opening hours are 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and then from 11:00 to 21:30. Friday and Saturday.
April 2021 marked the opening of Beard Papa’s first Austin branch on The Domain, and they have intentions to establish a second location in the city. In 1999, Yuji Hirota founded the company in Japan, which now has offices worldwide.
