Philadelphia and Milk Bar have joined forces to create an enticing new treat for those with a sweet tooth – the Red Velvet Philly Bagel Bomb. This innovative collaboration between Kraft Heinz’s Philadelphia brand and the famed Washington, D.C.-based bakery is designed to capitalize on the popularity of the red velvet and cream cheese flavor combination, a top-seller at Milk Bar.
This partnership marks a first-of-its-kind venture for both companies and introduces Milk Bar’s debut sweet bagel bomb offering. According to Christina Tosi, Chef and Founder of Milk Bar, “When we created the Bagel Bomb way back in 2011, we were only able to offer them in our bakeries, much to folks’ dismay. Teaming up with Philadelphia… felt like the truest way to roll out our first-ever nationwide bagel bomb offering.”
The Red Velvet Philly Bagel Bomb is now available for purchase at Milk Bar locations in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, as well as online for a limited time across the United States. This delectable treat features a core of lightly sweetened Philadelphia cream cheese with chocolate, encased in red velvet bagel dough. Whether enjoyed as an indulgent breakfast, an afternoon snack, or a dessert, this creation promises a delightful fusion of flavors.
Notably, this isn’t Milk Bar’s first foray into unique collaborations, as they previously partnered with Frito-Lay’s Cheetos to craft a cheese puff layer cake in celebration of the 75th birthday of the PepsiCo brand.
