Swiggy Limited has named Saurav Goyal as its new Senior Vice President and Head of the Driver and Delivery Organisation, reinforcing its internal leadership and strengthening operational capabilities in the competitive food delivery and convenience services market.

Goyal, who joined Swiggy in June 2020, previously headed the Business Finance division. In that role, he was instrumental in aligning financial planning with the company’s growth objectives and played a key role in Swiggy’s IPO efforts. In his expanded role, Goyal will now lead Swiggy’s delivery partner ecosystem—an integral pillar of the company’s service structure. He is set to spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, partner engagement, and service dependability. Sharing his thoughts on LinkedIn, Goyal remarked, “Delivery partners are the backbone of Swiggy’s reliability and reach.”

Girish Menon, Chief Human Resources Officer at Swiggy, emphasized the company’s focus on internal talent development with this move. “This transition highlights our commitment to nurturing leadership from within and building a future-ready organization,” he said. While taking on his new role, Goyal will continue to oversee the Business Finance function until a successor is appointed. With over 18 years of experience in strategic finance and business transformation, Goyal has held leadership roles at leading companies like Ola, Flipkart, and Tata Communications. His expertise spans financial governance, strategic planning, and long-term value creation.

This leadership shift comes as Swiggy intensifies efforts to optimize its operations and strengthen ties with its delivery partner network, aligning with the evolving demands of India’s food and convenience delivery landscape.
