A household name for the people of Kolkata, Chowman is the city’s most famous outlet for Chinese food. Chowman is set on its way to create a standardised F&B chain in India.
The business established a foothold in Bengaluru last year during the pandemic by operating three cloud kitchens after establishing its appeal in the lanes of Kolkata.
Located at Neeladri Nagar, Electronic City, Near Bommasandra, this is Chowman’s fifth outlet in the city, after the success of its outlets in Indiranagar, Marathalli, Arekere, and Kalyan Nagar.

Thanks to my team and the amazing people of Bangalore who have supported and motivated us into such a rapid expansion,” shared Debaditya Chaudhary, Managing Director, Chowman Hospitality Pvt. Ltd
Chaudhary had no prior training in the F&B space. It was his passion that he had now converted into a profession with over 1200 employees. He also intents on creating a brand that is impactful and creative. “During the pandemic, people were being barred from working especially in the F&B industry whereas we did not lay off our staff, nor did we do a pay cut. At that time, we believed that we should build the team that would have confidence. So, in F&B, I have tried to create this culture where the employee can have a sense of pride for associating with the company,” he expressed.
This cozy Asian restaurant welcomes visitors with a red and black décor, gentle lighting, and a tranquil statue of the ever-enlightening Buddha.
There are delicious delicacies from China, Korea, Burma, and Japan on the menu. Kung Pao Chicken, Coriander Burnt Garlic Rice, Stir Fried Pak Choi in Chilli Garlic Sauce, Sliced Fish in Soya Chilli, Chowman’s Distinctive Prawn Balls, Burmese platter-Khao Suey, Baos & Ramen are just a few of their signature dishes that are guaranteed to satisfy your taste buds and warm your heart.
